Empowering the Next Generation of Beauty Entrepreneurs: A Recap of Our CLA Brand Incubator Program

On 29 April 2025, Cosmetic Laboratories (AUST) Pty Ltd opened its doors to a group of passionate and purpose-driven individuals ready to explore the journey of building their own beauty brand. Held at our Melbourne facility, the CLA Brand Incubator Program was more than just a session—it was a launchpad for ideas, inspiration, and meaningful connections.

Designed as a free, in-person workshop, the program aimed to demystify the brand development process for aspiring founders in the skincare, haircare, and body care space. Whether attendees were just beginning to shape their product vision or already working on their prototypes, this immersive experience offered them clarity, direction, and a behind-the-scenes look into what it takes to go from idea to shelf.

We walked through the entire brand development process, from concept creation and formulation to packaging, compliance, and go-to-market strategy.

Renowned aromatherapy expert and Head of R&D, Ron Guba, share deep insights into ingredient selection, formulation trends, and the science behind natural personal care innovation. From early product ideation to technical refinement, Ron’s expertise helped bridge the gap between creative vision and viable formulation. Attendees had the rare opportunity to ask their own questions and receive personalised advice.

Participants explored our production floor and quality control labs, witnessing firsthand the standards and science behind clean, effective beauty products.
